National round table reports results from two European projects
On October 2nd, from 1:30 to 5 pm, Center for Educational Initiatives and DITT organize a National round table at “Rila” Hotel in Sofia, conference room “One+Two”. They will present results from the European educational projects Bridging Insula Europae and EUCLIDES. Teachers will use the opportunity to share good practices and experience from their work with web-based platforms for open and distance learning, their students’ progress in respective academic subjects and perspectives for future ICT application for educational purposes.
Besides, we will discuss how project results can be most useful for the Bulgarian educational system and how the projects’ web-based platforms can be used in Bulgarian schools.
Universities, schools, pedagogical centers and NGOs from Italy, Spain, Sweden, Finland, Romania, Turkey, Greece and Cyprus took part in both projects. In Bulgaria, CEI and DITT worked in cooperation, and attracted to the projects 250 students and 20 teachers from 9 schools throughout the country.
Experts from the regional Inspectorates for education in Sofia City and Sofia Region, as well as principals of schools from the capital are invited to participate in the Round table. The vice-minister of education, Mrs. Svetlana Lomova, will open the meeting.
