Participation of Bulgarian experts in a European educational project.

On 29.08.2008 in Istanbul representatives from Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski” - the Department for Information and In-Services Training of Teachers (Bistra Stoimenova and Zahari Zahariev) and from Center for educational initiatives (Emil Jassim) took part in a working meeting, organized by the Turkish partner Bolu Directorate about the project EUCLIDES. The project, in which 11 organizations take part and which is coordinated by the Italian organization Centro Di Studi Villa Montesca, aims to promote the constructive approach when teaching the natural science subjects in the secondary school. The Bulgarian partners presented the results from the research faze by this moment by showing the other participants theoretical analysis of the main concepts of the project, analysis the of the normative regulation in Bulgaria, review of the good practices and materials, interviews with experts and survey among the teachers concerning the problem.

The next meeting on the project EUCLIDES will be in the beginning of December in Sofia.
